Marriage is understood as a sacrament in the Episcopal Church, an outward sign of the inward grace of God. It is a privilege for our faith community to host this sacred commitment.
The Episcopal Church of the Nativity and its clergy celebrate the marriages of both opposite gender and same gender couples.
Nativity offers a beautiful worship space for wedding services. Our Sanctuary can seat 350 people comfortably. Our church facility is available as a wedding reception venue as well. We offer our space; outside catering and service would need to be provided by the couple. Nativity is conveniently located just off of Inter-state 35 South in Burnsville, MN.
Couples who wish to be married at Nativity should begin by contacting the Office Administrator at nativity@nativitymn.org or call 952-435-8687 to arrange a tentative date on the parish calendar. Our clergy will then set an appointment to meet the couple and arrange for pre-marital counseling, using the Prepare/Enrich program. Our clergy will assist the couple in planning their wedding service using one of the two services in the Book of Common Prayer.
