Annual Stewardship 2024

At Nativity, there is a place at the table for everyone. Made in God’s image, we love. Because of that love, we respond to God and other people with love. Sharing our time and talents are expressions of love as much as our financial contributions are. When we share, we join God’s economy, where multiplication happens. We invite you to join in celebrating God’s love by pledging support to Nativity as we continue this life-giving work in our church family and for our community.

This year, we asked our ministry teams to get together and dream. We invited them to name their goals, and to consider new ways we might expand our reach. Our teams delivered. With commitments to continue our core activities and ideas to expand our capacity, our teams are ready to make this happen!

To do this work, we need your continued commitment.  We need to grow our 2024 budget of $280,356 to $302,784 in 2025. This $22,400 increase would allow us to build more capacity to fuel the technology that extends worship to 1 in 10 parishioners on any given Sunday, with some of those members facing physical limits that prevent them from coming to our sanctuary. With your support, we will build back funds for Pastoral Care and Adult Faith Formation, allowing us to care more generously for people who experience illness in body, mind, or spirit, and to grow more creatively in the faith and ministry that are the hallmarks of our mission here. We’d love to continue seeing you on Sunday mornings, as we worship God together.

We express our love through financial gifts, just as we do through shared prayer and gathered life. This year, I ask you to join me and the vestry in giving an 8% increase to your pledge, as we invest together so we can continue to set a table where all will find a place. A pledge card and envelope have been enclosed. Please bring your pledge to church or mail it in time to arrive by Sunday, November 3. On that day, we will bless the pledges at our community table, in our worship service.

You are an essential part of Nativity, and this church is yours. Your acts of loving, caring, and giving are important parts of your pledge. Thank you for this support, and for your financial support, all of which make Nativity’s ministries possible. We can’t respond to God’s mission among us without you.

In Christ’s Peace,
