Updated 5/21/2021
Together, due to the pandemic, we are taking steps to make attending worship service as safe as possible.
The online live stream of our 10:15 am Sunday worship service will continue, as those who are unable to attend can still receive a meaningful experience from home.
We will continue to offer daily Compline at 9:00 pm Sunday through Saturday, except evening prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
We will offer in-person indoor Sunday morning prayer service at 10:15am with a limit of 75 attendees. Please read the procedures before attending so you are prepared for the requirements to attend an in-person indoor service at Nativity.
PRE-SERVICE:
- We ask that you not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (click here for a list of symptoms), or if you or a member of your household has been confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19.
- We require a face covering or mask for all unvaccinated attendees 2 years of age and older.
- Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the beginning of Service.
- Park as usual. Entry will be through the office doors.
- You will be checked in.
- Ushers will direct you to your seating location in the sanctuary. We will seat from front to back and you will be dismissed from back to front.
DURING SERVICE:
- There will not be any congregational singing at in-person liturgies.
- The collection baskets will be at the back of the Sanctuary. You may drop in your envelope/offering as you enter or leave. If it is easier, you may donate online.
- Worship Aids will not be printed, so if you would prefer to follow along, print your own and bring it or use your smart device, and view it from the link provided in the Nativity eNotes on Saturday morning.
COMMUNION:
- Communion will be placed in your open palm by the Eucharistic ministers.
POST SERVICE:
- We look forward to seeing everyone again. We encourage you to follow all physical distancing guidelines after the service.
By deciding to attend service means you agree to the above guidelines. You also agree that you accept any risk of COVID19 infection due to attending an in-person, indoor gathering, and that by no means is Nativity Episcopal Church liable.
